Christopher M., 33, was born in Oakland, CA and continues to reside in the San Diego area. Christopher M. believes his quest is to paint our universal love affair with food. "To me, painting is communication like a song or a story," Christopher M. says, "I want to tell people stories with my paintings and hopefully they are stories that they will enjoy and that will remind them of all the good things in life." Christopher M. was fortunate to learn the techniques and history of art while attending the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. After school, he went on to receive accolades from the San Francisco Society of Illustrators. Christopher M. uses oil paint on his canvases and the occasional wood panel or linen. Not a stranger to multi-tasking while working, Christopher M. does enjoy reading and writing in his down time.
